Our history
The history of Meine Kette is almost cinematic. What began in 2017 in our own four walls with great passion and a single engraving machine has developed into a successful e-commerce company with its own production facility in Castrop-Rauxel. Perseverance, hard work and discipline have gotten us to where we are today. Coupled with the will to constantly develop and remain open to criticism, we rely on transparency, approachability and enthusiasm for what we do. The combination of love for jewelry and the promotion of individuality, self-confidence and diversity drives us every day. At the beginning, our founder and CEO Selman Cakirci could not have imagined how much his business would grow. Meine Kette now employs a team of over 70 people. Another highlight followed in 2021 with the opening of a shop in Centro Oberhausen. Are you from the area and would like to see our jewelry live? Our idea
In addition to its unique design, our jewelry is particularly characterized by its personal story:
with a name, a word, an engraved dedication or a declaration of love. All desired creations are lovingly handcrafted for each customer. We attach great importance to a high quality standard. That's why our pieces of jewelry are made of 925 silver and are refined in a special gold plating bath with 18 carat gold or 24 carat rose gold for the color. The waterproof metal combines resistance, longevity and insensitivity. Plus, it's fully recyclable. Exactly what you expect from an accessory.
Our production
Meine Kette produces exclusively in Germany. We decided to do this for several reasons. It is a matter close to our hearts to strengthen our region economically and to offer as many people as possible the chance of a secure job. In addition, we can directly influence the different processing steps, etc. in our jewelry production and carry out quality control independently. At the same time, we are reducing our CO2 emissions by eliminating long delivery routes.
Our vision
The satisfaction of our customers is our top priority. That's why we focus on the shortest possible production and delivery times, excellent customer service and high quality standards. We offer a 2-year guarantee on all of our jewelry, and we will even repair it for you free of charge if it is your fault.
One thing was particularly important to us when we founded the company: a fair pricing policy. The majority of our customers are still in training or at the beginning of their professional life.
